A massive Thank You to all our lovely customers that have visited us since October 2021. We took over as new owners at SCRAMM Live Escape Rooms in September 2021 to give the local community something fun to do in their spare time. Different groups of friends and families have visited us, taking an hour out of their everyday life to have fun and enjoy time together. We hope we have given lots of people the chance to escape reality for a while and have some fun after being locked up with the pandemic for so long!
We believe that playing SCRAMM Escape Rooms can help with everyone’s mental well-being and we wanted to support a local charity that does the same! The support we have received from our bookings means the world to us and thanks to you we have been able to donate £800 to Restore, who support people in their mental health recovery.
‘Restore’ is a well-established Oxfordshire Mental Health Charity that supports people to take control of their own recovery, develop skills, and lead meaningful lives. They offer recovery groups, training and employment coaching.
Our donation has been doubled to £1,600 and has gone towards making their sites more sustainable and energy efficient. This included buying a 30ft wide commercial all-weather poly-tunnel to enhance their organic growing of fruit and vegetables all year round. This will improve the quality of the produce that they sell into the community from their sites and benefits the members with their therapeutic gardening recovery groups. All money raised for the sale of the local produce is reinvested to develop Restore’s recovery programmes.
